I loved you more than I thought possible. You gave me the most perfect introduction into France (despite my unwillingness to enter this country). I had met a lot of irritating French boys on my journeys so far and just didn’t want to deal with another. However, everything was perfect in Bordeaux. The cultural, general way of life, the alternative vibes of a city so wonderfully preserved and the city at night – Oh my, the city at night was dreamy and romantic. Jess and I stayed in an air BnB which was super cute with our hosts. Sharing a few beers with them on our second night we agreed that leaving this place would be super difficult. And alas, it was. However just made me that much more excited for Paris.
THINGS TO DO: Place de la Bourse Cost: Free Picnic along the Garonne Cost: Free but head to the local supermarket for wine and cheese first Climb the 233 steps up the Tour Pey-Berland Cost: Free for us (surprisingly) otherwise around 5€ Musée des Beaux-Arts Cost: Discounted price 3€ WHERE TO STAY: Air Bnb for sure! As they are affordable and heaps cute Here is a link to where we stayed: www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/18887205?location=Bordeaux%2C%20France Please note: These recommendations are from a broke backpacker and probably won’t suit your average high-class traveller. Next stop: Paris, France Read about San Sebastián here: http://watchthisspace.weebly.com/home/travel-san-sebastian
